How to use the Excel to CSV Converter
Drag and drop an XLSX or XLS file onto the upload area, or click it to browse and select your file from disk
If your workbook has multiple sheets, click the sheet tabs that appear to switch between them and generate separate CSV outputs
Choose your delimiter: comma for standard CSV, semicolon for European spreadsheet apps, tab for TSV format, or pipe for data pipelines
Set the Date Format to control how Excel date serials appear in the CSV: as formatted strings, raw numbers, or ISO 8601 dates like 2024-01-15
Select Line Endings to match your target environment: LF for Unix and Mac systems, CRLF for Windows applications and Excel imports
Use the Column Selection buttons to include only the fields you need, hiding unwanted columns from the CSV output
Toggle Skip Empty Rows to automatically remove blank lines from the output, keeping your CSV clean and compact
